Well Watered Mind!🤝

Well Watered Mind

Well Watered Mind is, in short, self-directed, self-disciplined, self-monitored, and self-cared with self-corrective thinking. We are all programmed by our society to live in certain way and every aspect of our life operates in this fashion. But, There is no one “right” way to live and grow… understand, every life journey is unique and the more we realize this, the more we can respect the journeys of others and ourselves. Find what is beautiful in every person’s path, and in every belief system. Honor other people’s paths even if they are different from yours. Be inclusive and loving, and look beyond the form of people’s beliefs to the essence. There is no right or wrong way; there is only the way that is right for you. It’s all about the choices we make. Its all about one’s perspective. When we go out into the woods and we look at trees, we see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens, and some of them are whatever. And we look at the tree. We see why it is the way it is. We sort of understand that it didn’t get enough light, and so it turned that way. And we don’t get all emotional about it. We just allow it. We appreciate the tree. The minute we get near humans, we lose all that. And we are being too judgemental. We are constantly saying ‘You are this, or she is that’ or whatsoever.  That judging mind comes in. Humans are judgmental creatures by nature. We often feel like we need to have an opinion on anything that sets fire on the smallest flame of our emotion, and when we get emotional, we often tend to stop thinking clearly. But we don’t need to have an opinion on every single little thing in the world. We should be more open and receptive to new ideas and perspectives. Every person that you cross paths with in life will know things you don’t know, have experiences you haven’t experienced, and carry a different worldview than you do. These are great things. It makes every person a learning opportunity when we can set aside our own perspectives to simply listen and be with that person in their world. A Well Watered Mind Raises vital questions and problems, formulating them clearly and precisely; Gathers and assesses relevant information, using concrete ideas to interpret it effectively and comes to well-reasoned conclusions and solutions, testing them against relevant criteria and standards; Thinks open-mindedly within alternative systems of thought, recognizing and assessing, as need be, their assumptions, ideologies, implications, and practical consequences; and communicates effectively with others in figuring out solutions to complex problems. We should be more practical and make everyday life simpler, easier, more meaningful, and more real to reduce the suffering that each of us experiences to some degree. Nurture the mind and reap the fruit.🌹
